Songdo is the first global smart city because of its high technology equipment and vast “green” areas, just to name a few features. But other cities are catching up like Singapore, Seoul, Cape Town or Santiago de Chile. The former leading high-tech city San Francisco has already been caught up. The innovation and high-tech sector in other cities is rapidly growing the meantime. This development implies that the leading city of the world’s most high-tech city can be anywhere in the future.
