Tesla told the AFR on Thursday that they could provide the battery storage system needed to avoid further power shortages in southern Australia. Repeated blackouts and price spikes had given cause to the federal government to blame the utilization of renewable energy technology. Elon Musk, founder of Tesla, has now reinforced their offer, saying that would they not finish the project in 100 days, it would be free of charge.
