Switzerland to vote for a “green economy”

Switzerland consumes 3.3 times the amount of natural resources that are available per capita worldwide (via Swiss Federal Statistic Office). This is the reason why Swiss residents will have to vote on an initiative that would cut natural resource consumption to one-third of current levels by 2050 and make Switzerland the first country legally obliged to run a “green economy”.
