Canadian designer Charles Bombardier developed a concept plane that could fly 10 times faster than Concorde. The Antipode, as the plane is called by its inventor, draws on technology that has been tested by NASA and could carry ten people. As it is just a concept plane, the design will probably not realized but could help to stimulate more research and development in this direction.
