MIT developed a self-driving scooter that gives many handicapped people more freedom. The new technology can be adapted to different vehicle types and it can be used indoor as well as outdoor. While the scooter has already proven to be successful in a number of tests, longer tests and stresstests will be conducted before the new technology can be applied.
