BMW to implement Alexa in their cars

Amazon announced last week that their Alexa voice assistant is going to be implemented in select BMW cars from the middle of 2018 on.

BMW drivers will then have access to Alexa skills and voice-based capabilities from the BMW infotainment system. The partnership also means that the cars will be equipped with far-field microphones to improve voice interaction and display visual output better.
