The European network of cities has released a report on the strategies and policies cities adopt to encounter radicalization, extremism and terrorism. Essential is the relationship between the different levels of legislation (local, national and EU) which can vary significantly between cities. The report stresses the benefits of promoting community, social inclusion, integration and participation by the local population in order to reduce all forms of hate.
