Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. recently introduced their Cellular Vehicle-to-Everything (C-V2X) commercial solution, the Qualcomm C-V2X Reference Design. It has two transmission modes, one for direct communications and one for network-based communications, serving as key features for safety conscious and autonomous driving solutions.
The technology is designed to support active safety and helps enhance situational awareness through detection and exchange of information using low latency transmission between cars in the surrounding area.
