Funds worth £109.7 million released by UK Government 38 driverless and low carbon vehicle projects

A funding of £109.7 million has been provided by the UK Government along with the industry contributions, in an effort to help develop the next generation of driverless and low-carbon vehicles. This initiative is part of the Industrial Strategy and the government’s Plan for Britain.  The grant will be divided between the Advanced Propulsion Center (APC), the Office for Low Emissions Vehicles (OLEV), ; and the second round of the connected autonomous vehicles competition (CAV2) with 7, 7, and 24 projects respectively.
