Productive 4.0, the largest European research initiative to date in the field of Industry 4.0, has been launched by Infineon Technologies in Dresden. With more than 100 partners from 19 European countries, Productive 4.0 was conceptualized to create a user platform across value chains and industries that promotes the digital networking of manufacturing companies, production machines and products.
As part of ECSEL, the European funding program for microelectronics, the project will run for 3 years until 30 April 2020. Productive 4.0 has a volume of €106 million, spread between the Member States, ministries, research institutes, and partnering companies.
