11 Japanese automotive companies have signed a memorandum of understanding to accelerate the expansion of hydrogen stations in Japan to foster the early stage development of FCV (Fuel cell vehicles). The Roadmap of Japan’s government targets a total of 160 operational hydrogen stations and 40,000 in-use FCVs 2020. The companies contribute to the realization of Japan as a hydrogen society by aiming to achieve a steady construction of hydrogen stations and a wider use of FCVs.
