Missouri proceeds in efforts to build Hyperloop One route

A public-private partnership was formed in Missouri to adavance efforts and prove that they have a viable route for building one of Hyperloop One’s very first actual hyperloop routes. Missouri’s Department of Transportation, together with the St. Louis Regional Chamber, the Kansas City Tech Council, the University of Missouri System and the Missouri Innovation Center in Columbia have teamed up to initiate and  realise the building of a route that would link Kansas City, Columbia and St. Louis. The Hyperloop One route would potentially reach 5 million Missouri residents and would cut commuting time to 25 minutes. The next step would be a feasibility study, where the ‘private’ aspect of the partnership would come into play, given that funding from state budget is constrained.
