Porsche introduces plug-in hybrid with extended range to its Panamera Sport Turismo model line. The 2018 Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid Sport Turismo delivers a total output of 680 hp and 626 ft-lb (850 N·m) of torque, combining a 4.0 litre V8 motor with an electric motor. It is of the most powerful production vehicles Porsche has ever made, and comes with an enhanced design which increased the luggage compartment volume and seating for five. This makes it compatible for ‘every day use’. The Turbo S E-Hybrid Sport Turismo has a range of up to 49 km and a top speed of 140 km/h when driven solely using electric power (European figures).
