Several EU countries delay stricter car emissions tests

According to a draft report by the European Parliament, several EU countries, including Italy, France and Spain, have delayed the adoption of stricter car emissions tests, even though there is proof that this has caused pollution to go above legal limits, a draft report by European Parliament said today. In the report the delays are blamed on the protection of Europe’s powerful car industry.
