Siemens’ Energy Management Division and Bentley Systems have agreed to jointly develop solutions to accelerate digitalization of planning, design and operations for power utilities and industrial power customers. Bentley Systems is a global leader in software solutions that advance the design, construction and operations of infrastructure. The solutions will include Bentley System’s utility design and geographic information systems (GIS) capabilities and Siemens’ Power System Simulation (PSS) Suite. By joining the two platforms customers will get Bentley’s expertise in 3D infrastructure asset modeling and Siemens’ energy system planning and simulation expertise and knowledge.
