One of the world’s best-known packaging suppliers, Tetra Pak, is not just working on boosting its recycling rate. The company is aiming to play a part in delivering on the Paris Agreement and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) on multiple fronts.
Tetra Pak wants to double the recycling rate of its beverage cartons to 40 percent by 2020, but also launched both a suite of Science-Based Targets (SBTs) and an innovative bioplastic film that works with cane sugar this year. It also sources a third of its power from renewable energy.
