Volkswagen has chosen the first six teams for its new start-up incubator at Gläserne Manufaktur (Transparent Factory) in Dresden. The start-ups include Smart City System, Nuremberg, LoyalGo, Dortmund, Tretbox,Berlin, and Ekoio, Leipzig. These startups wil be joined by the Freiburg based Geospin and Dresden based CarlundCarla.de from Dresden at the Gläserne Manifaktur. The stratups will get the financial support from Dresden whereas the technical and market expertise from Volkswagen. The incubator period will last for six months, where the companies will have to show the progress in the first three months in order to continue for the remaining time.
