Will a new recharging technology for EVs bring the breakthrough? Image source: Shutterstock (#631258268).
Recharge time and range are two of the major issues for electric vehicles. Scientists from Stanford University might now have solved both of these problems as they have been able to successfully transfer electricity wirelessly to a moving object.
This technology might revolutionize electric cars as they could be charged while someone is driving them. This would, at its core, work with a coil on the bottom of a car receiving electricity from coils that are connected to an electric current that is embedded in the road.
