The 2017 HIMSS Cybersecurity Survey, a major healthcare cybersecurity survey, has revealed cybersecurity is a priority for leading healthcare providers, and that proactive measures are being taken.
The results conclude that penetration testing is essential for defenses, incident response plans, awareness training, policies and procedures, and that due diligence of technology products and services is frequently done. Major concerns among providers are medical device security and cloud security.
