At the AI for Good Global Summit, a United Nations-hosted congress on the development of AI for humanity’s benefit, Audi has introduced their Beyond Initiative, in the framework of which a network of experts will explore the social implications of AI in the automotive industry and working world. “AI will fundamentally change our lives and working world. It’s up to all of us to make sure AI is used to benefit society,” said Audi CEO Rupert Stadler.
Policymakers, programmers, ethicists, and car manufacturers should work in unison to build trust towards new AI systems in the public and consumers for when level five autonomy will be tested in 2020.
