Chinas largest development project One Belt, One Road is yet to get another high-speed connected transportation vehicle – a 4000km/h fast train. The China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation says that it is making plans to build ‘T-Flight’ — a high speed “flying train”. Inside the train are sealed tubes using magnetic levitation technology- the initial speed of 1000km/h is said to be achieved in the test phase, and would be doubled and yet again doubled after trial ‘flights’. Each compartment could carry 20 passengers and rides would take about three minutes. All of this, of course is still an idealised vision of the future.
