Citi has recently beta launched a banking chatbot on Facebook Messenger that can provide customer account information to users. The so-called Citi Bot is a world-first for the company and uses natural language processing to understand the nuances of human language.
First introduced to the Singapore market, the bot will gradually find its way to the wider Asia Pacific region and cater to basic banking queries.
