A carbon pricing tool developed by sustainability research and advisory firm Trucost should help companies decrease their investment risks in changing carbon regulations. The tool, available in form of a catalogue provides data on current carbon taxes, emissions trading schemes, and fuel taxes from 130 cities, regions and countries. It provides insights to the carbon pricing risk of companies from now to 2030. The tool also aims at helping companies invest in business opportunities in renewable energy, resource efficiency and other similar product strategies that are emerging in the face of changing carbon regulations.
