Google is planning a massive new campus in downtown San Jose, where 20,000 employees will have 8 million square feet of office space to work. The city of San Jose is hoping to capitalize on this to solve problems such as housing prices, traffic congestion, and economic and racial inequality.
As Google’s public image is not in its best condition, it might help the technology giant as well to use this opportunity to create a new model of inclusive, tech-fueled urban development.
