Apple is partnering with rental car agency Hertz for the deployment and management of its self-driving vehicle technology. For that, Hertz is providing the car fleet for the tests. Documents released by the California Department of Motor Vehicles show that the fleet consists of Lexus RX450h SUVs by Donlen fleet-management unit. Donlen was already listed as lessor to Apple as lessee back when Apple received testing license from the DMV in April.
