French firms SUEZ and Bouygues Construction have signed a worldwide Memorandum of Understanding to develop sustainable smart cities with circular economy solutions. For initially three years, the design and development of new solutions to optimize resource management and the facilitation of a circular economy will be the main points addressed by the partnership.
According to the companies, the city as a whole needs to be reinvented to reduce energy and water consumption, and SUEZ and Bouygues Construction will be sharing their expertise and vision to find innovative solutions in order to sustainably manage future populations.
